Seems like everyone is trying for an SG50 baby – including the two pandas at the River Safari, Kai Kai and Jia Jia. With female panda Jia Jia in heat, the keepers brought the pair together for some sexy-time. We bring you the highlights of their 40-minute mating session.

Unfortunately, the mating session was not successful. Might have to do with the fact that this was the first time for both bears. However, as female pandas only ovulate once a year and are fertile for a short period of time, Jia Jia was artificially inseminated to increase the chance of her conceiving.
