After a three-year hiatus, the Singapore Craft Beer Week returns with a line-up of learning, mug-clinking and tasting of the city’s best suds. We highlight a few events.

Hop on a bus from Draft and Craft on Circular Road to the city’s best brewery, in Tuas. Head brewer Robert Beck takes attendees on a tour around the facility, where the beer-making magic happens, shows off a new experimental pilot brewery, and leads a tasting of an exclusive Singapore Craft Beer Week beer.

Craft beer takes over Brewerkz’s weekly trivia night to test your knowledge of the big, fizzy world of beer.

You’ve heard of hops, but here’s a chance to get intimately knowledgeable about its different varieties and pongs. Brewerkz’s master brewer Scott Robertson leads a tasting of beers made with different hops, picking out their individual nuances so you can impress your friends with your grasp of Simcoe’s piney characteristics or Citra’s rich mango flavours.

Sample over 200 beers before plonking down your hard-earned cash for a few takeaway crates of the good stuff. RedMart, the event’s title sponsor takes care of the delivery – no minimum order necessary.

Homebrewers and beer bloggers Nick Lewty and Natasha Hong of Beer Can Lah lead a discussion and tasting of six canned craft beers to show you why tin is better. In attendance are Four Pure Brewery’s aluminium-appreciative founders Daniel and Thomas Lowe, who export their brews in cans to Singapore from London.
