After half a year of kicking up dust and filling the air with the reverbs of drills and hammers around its reboot, The Club (previously The Club Hotel), on the corner of Ann Siang Road is finally reopening. Timed for a July 17 soft launch, design outfit, Distillery, has filled the super-trendy boutique hotel with artwork at every corner, quirky findings for its 18 standard rooms and 2 suites, and given their façade a fresh coat of light green against bold red shophouse shutters.

Opening with it is Mr & Mrs Maxwell's on the ground floor and The Champagne Yard on second. The former works multiple duties as an all-day dining spot, concierge and hotel lobby, and cocktail lounge at night, while the bubbly bar tucks sheltered seating on a side street balcony for raised pinky drinks come sundown.

Elsewhere in the building, chef Daniel Sia's chic Ann Siang outpost of The Disgruntled Chef; will open later this month, with banquette and moss-green living chairs for 50 patrons, a dining room hidden in the basement for private parties of up to 12, both serving Sia's updated casual French cuisine.

Tiger's Milk on the rooftop, also opening closer to the turn of next month, will feature Peruvian ceviches, barbecues and gourmet popcorn created under the purview of a still unnamed Lima-based chef star and a celebrated local chef. Downstairs, The Club’s whisky bar, B28, returns to its basement hatch with more malt vaults for bottle buyers and live jazz tunes by saxophonist, Nicole Duffell.

The Club re-opens July 17.
