Here’s proof that the best things in life are free: you can catch all the Euro 2016 matches at 26 community clubs (CCs) across Singapore without forking out a single cent.
Sure, CCs are not as cushy as your couch. But you’d be cheering your team on (or boo-ing the opposing team, whatever your jam is) alongside your mates and like-minded strangers alike – without dropping a fair dime on a package from your telco.
Held in France, the 2016 UEFA European Championship sees 24 national teams, including favourites such as Germany, England and Italy, along with first-timers such as Iceland, Northern Ireland, Slovakia and Wales, attempt to wrest the trophy from two-time defending champions Spain.
The first game on June 11 at 3am local time kicks off with hosts France taking on Romania. A total of 51 matches will be shown during the month-long tournament – here are the participating CCs:
