Time Out says

Clarke Quay – a refurbished riverside development of old warehouses – consists almost exclusively of bars and restaurants. A plastic jellyfish-looking roof has been built overhead, with fountains and huge fans in place to cool the customers moving between venues. Anyone studying branding should certainly visit, as it seems mandatory that each venue must be differently and strongly themed. Visitors from the UK might sense a similarity to a modern High Street at home (read: Croydon), with Aussie visitors feeling that this could be Singapore's Bondi. But who cares? Nobody, judging from the barely containable crowds there on weekends. If you like to bar hop furiously with everything under one roof, then Clarke Quay is for you; if you like kooky little places with no theme, then it’s not.

Furkids Fiesta 2026

Calling all paw-rents, the biggest Furkids Fiesta is here. For over two weekends, the pet event returns to CQ @ Clarke Quay to transform the riverside hangout into a buzzing playground for both pets and their humans, packed with activities and experiences centred around animal lifestyle, wellness, education and advocacy. Think rescue dog fashion shows, curated pet boutiques, a special “puppatini” bar for dogs, dedicated play zones and a series of pet demonstrations. That’s not all – there’s also a marketplace offering toys, treats and live-drawn portraits, as well as fundraising booths by Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter. Elsewhere, you and your pets can hop on board the River Voyage and enjoy a leisurely cruise along the Singapore River at golden hour. The ride is capped at 20 redemptions each day, and each pet must be accompanied by 1 human. As part of the festival programme, adidas will also launch its first-ever Pet Collection in Singapore, which features a line of matching pet-and-owner outfits, premium pet accessories and limited-edition World Cup jerseys. The collection’s main highlight is the CALI TEE, a comfy sporty tee available in four colours and designed to fit a variety of breeds, from cats to dogs.

StarHub WatchParty: Premier League Final Day

The final day of the Premier League 2025/26 season is here – and what better way to close it out than with StarHub, as it turns the city’s riverside into one big celebration of goals, glory and good vibes. On May 24, CQ @ Clarke Quay becomes the beating heart of football fandom as StarHub hosts StarHub WatchParty: Premier League Final Day, the first in a new series of live shared entertainment experiences designed to bring fans closer to the action and the community. Whether you’re a die-hard supporter who knows every formation by heart or someone who just turns up for the electric matchday buzz, this is a night where everyone gets pulled into the same roar. From 7pm, the energy ramps up with football simulators, goalkeeper challenges and interactive games, all hosted by Class 95’s The Muttons. There’s even a chance you might spot football legends in the mix. All 10 matches will be screened live, so every goal, save and last-minute twist plays out in real time. And with Arsenal and Manchester City locked in a neck-and-neck title race, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Kick-off hits at 11pm, but come early to secure a prime viewing spot and settle in. Enjoy unlimited ice cream and snacks, with StarHub subscribers also getting extra perks like one-for-one Guinness and exclusive merch drops. With something for everyone, it’s an easy weekend win for both football fans and families alike. Find out more here.
