Contrary to its name, this little cocktail bar is overflowing neither with people nor with staff. Tucked away on an odd little side street in the depths of Robertson Walk, Flow’s dark exterior and tinted windows would actually make for a perfect brothel. Open the large glass doors, and you’ll find that the interior makes the same impression. But this little dark bar is a hidden gem, and we’re quite reticent to share it, because here you’ll find a drinker’s dream come true. The menu offers lists of whiskies, scotches, gins and cocktails as long as your arm, and its bar staff know what they’re doing. The Long Island iced tea lives up to its name – it is ‘long’ indeed – and incredibly strong. Hurrah! And the dry martini deserves a medal as well. Please promise that you won’t run around town spreading the word.
