Situated in the Oriental Hotel, Morton’s is elegant but un-pretentious. Topped by a pagoda roof and opening onto the hotel’s atrium, the setting is striking. Its martinis are the biggest and best in town (though on the pricey side) and free steak sandwiches are served during happy hour (5-7pm). The friendly crowd (regulars, hotel guests and business types) and staff keep the place down-to-earth.
