Opposite 40 Hands is this elevated space with a polished concrete floor lit up by exposed bulb fixtures. Its white, grey, black and light-wood interior is fitted with couches, bar seating and rocking chairs. The idea is to knock back a couple of Kirins (ten for $42) and happy-hour drinks ($8 before 8pm) while snacking on the wall menu of Western food like chicken pesto pasta ($12.50), beef stew ($14.50) and Bob’s mini sliders ($4). Gourmet coffees are an added bonus.
