Open since 1992, this pub has been overlooked since nearby Clarke Quay was made over – it’s a lot quieter than it deserves to be. Situated within an atmospheric shophouse, the space is decked out with a pool table and dart board. On busier nights the action spills out onto the front porch, and if you ask nicely, the friendly staff will let you take over the music – or even dance on the bar. If you’re up for a big evening, there’s a ‘ten drinks for $38 offer’ (before 10pm, nightly).
Happy hour 5-9pm, two jugs of house beer for $38.
