The multi-award winning Zulu ballet INALA is making its way from London's West End to the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands for five special performances. Brought to you by the production company Sisters Grimm, INALA mixes elements of Western ballet, contemporary dance and traditional Zulu song and dance to create a vibrant production featuring two-time Grammy Award-winning South African choral legends, the Soweto Gospel Choir, as well as former and current Royal Ballet and Rambert dancers. It also showcases the work of multi-award winning choreographer Mark Baldwin OBE to deliver a powerful and elevating experience.
Catch the talented cast of singers and dancers throw shapes to the intricate South African rhythms from June 19 to 22. The original score is composed by four-time Grammy Award-winning choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Joseph Shabalala and Ella Spira, and was nominated for the Grammy's Best World Music Album in 2016.
