From March 17 to 22, the world’s best b-boys and girls slam into Singapore for RadikalForze Jam 2015. The annual festival of hip hop, urban arts and, of course, breakdancing comprises workshops, parties with international DJs, graffiti exhibitions and a dizzying array of b-boy competitions.
The most prestigious of the lot is the Red Bull BC One, which pits dancer against dancer for the chance to rep their hometown at the tournament’s final in Rome, Italy, later this year. Sixteen b-boys from the Lion City take the shot this time ’round.
The festival, put together by local dance collective RadikalForze, takes place in various locations, from *SCAPE to Wave House Sentosa, so keep tabs on the website for the 411. And look out for the closing beach party, headlined by local turntablist extraordinaire DJ Koflow. Don’t break a leg.
