Time Out says

As we tip into May, make good on one of your New Year's resolutions – you know, the one you've resolved to learn more about food beyond just stuffing your face. FoodCine.ma – a film festival devoted to food – is an offshoot of A Design Film Festival, both organised by creative agency Anonymous. The line-up is a homonymous eight ('ate', geddit?) feature-length films and eight shorts that are screening from April 29 to May 14. Seven documentaries, including Barista, Cooking up a Tribute – it follows the Roca brothers in their three-Michelin-starred restaurant – and The Birth of Sake, are making their Asian debut at Objectifs, while Tasteology, a film about the science of flavour, makes its world premiere at the festival, too.

Also on the menu are two screenings hosted with food pairings at House@Dempsey and Common Man Coffee Roasters. See www.foodcine.ma for full schedule.
