Time Out says

From August 4 to October 31, the Singapore Film Commission (SFC) is marking its 25th anniversary by presenting a series of film-related activities centred around the theme Our Stories, Well-Told. These programs are designed to bring light to locally produced films by cultivating a deeper understanding of the local film landscape and the individuals driving its growth. Over the years, the SFC has played an important role in Singapore's film scene by backing over 800 short films, scripts, feature films, and film-related occasions, serving as a platform for nurturing our local talents.

A series of free screenings featuring homegrown movies and short films will take place at The Esplanade's Concourse, Outdoor Theatre, and Recital Studio. The genres span from comedy and horror to animation and drama. Seating is limited and operates on a first-come-first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot.

Additionally, industry talks will be conducted by local film practitioners for young individuals contemplating a career in the media field. These talks will be held across institutions like LASALLE College of the Arts and Republic Polytechnic, among others.

There’s also something for those who prefer the comfort of their homes – simply tune in to Mediacorp's streaming platform, mewatch, to catch a list of curated Singaporean-made shows. Other selected titles can also be enjoyed on television channels such as Channel 5, Channel 8, Suria, and Vasantham.
