Tourist Trap - Under The Banyan Tree

Time Out says

This terrifying tale by director David Schmoeller (The Seduction, Puppet Master) is not one for the faint of heart. If you’ve found yourself the least bit frightened by dolls and mannequins before (think Chucky), you may or may not want to risk your sanity for a peek at this – depending on how easily spooked you are. It may not have the critical reception as Poltergeist, but it’s become quite the overlooked and obscure cult classic over the years. The film follows a group of five teens who end up stranded halfway through their road trip in Texas. Chancing upon a nearby deserted petrol station – which does double duty as a rundown museum that used to be somewhat of a tourist trap featuring animated wax figures during its heyday – the friends bump into the polite but awkward Slausen (owner of the strange museum), triggering off a series of peculiar events that end in a nightmarish ordeal.
