Chew The Fat

Chew The Fat, run by a friendly, bespectacled Chew joins the Everton Park community, serving standard cafe fare, desserts and a range of hot premium teas ($3.50 each) such as Japanese cherry blossom sencha, chilli chocolate white tea and mandarin orange Earl Grey. Plates ($12-$20) here include crispy salmon and baked halibut with a sweet orange sauce, and pastas topped with smoked duck and ham and pineapples. Signature desserts include the Royal Apple Crumble ($6 without ice cream, additional $2.50 for a scoop of ice cream) and Wicked Brownies, six to seven bite-sized brownies stacked ($7) and served either warm or cold, either with or without an additional scoop of vanilla ice cream ($9.50).
