Rosé wines are fast becoming the new ‘It’ drink for hotter months – and Singapore’s getting a drinking event dedicated to it.
Rosé Revolution, however, is not a snobby swirl-and-spit affair. Organised by Discovery Channel’s Flying Winemaker and Hong Kong-based boutique bottle store owner Eddie McDougall, this six-hour sipping marathon begins at noon at the Raffles Hotel’s Bar & Billiards Room.
It features at least 24 labels, from sweet and refreshing to tannic and dry. Whatever you prefer, there’s learning to be done and lots to take in, all for a steal of $30 a ticket ($20/ first 150). Bring a friend to clink glasses with and get $10 off the total price of the tickets.
