Time Out says

Ellenborough Market by the Singapore River was once popular for its fresh fish and Teochew food until a fire destroyed the meeting place in 1968. Almost 50 years on, the Singapore Food and Beverage Alliance is recreating the experience on Clarke Quay's Read Bridge, with 15 of the 30 participating food stalls selling Teochew dishes, including an Ellenborough original, Ming Fa Noodle House. Meanwhile, an opera troupe stages nightly performances of singing, martial arts, opera performances and acrobatics.

Singapore Favourite Food Village 2015 – A Wok Down Memory Lane at Ellenborough Market is organised as part of the Singapore Food Festival 2015.
