Specialising in semi-permanent solutions for those looking to put their best face forward without waking up early to put on makeup, Jo has years of experience training in Europe and Korea, learning different tips and tricks along the way. The consultation process feels more like a conversation, where you share your preferences (thick, thin, arched, straight, brown, black), which Jo takes into consideration while providing her own expert advice.
Once you're happy with the penciled-in shape, you're led to a plush massage bed where numbing cream is applied. Brow microblading services range from Ombre Powder Brow (from $450) where colour is shaded in to make the brows look fuller to Artisan Shaded Brows ($690) where a mix of thin hair strokes, drawn in the same direction as your brows, are used to give you the most natural-looking outcome. The process is relatively painless thanks to the numbing cream but you do feel the pressure of something sharp scraping your skin.
