Choo’s Masquerade Party: A Buffet of Hidden Agendas

One of Singapore’s most chaotic families is back – and, naturally, they’re bringing even more mayhem this time around. After celebrating their sister Phoebe’s divorce last year, the Choos cordially invite you to crash yet another gloriously dysfunctional family gathering. This time, it’s a masquerade party. Everyone will be handed a mask when they arrive so you don’t have to BYO. In fact, all you have to do is show up in your best silver or gold getup and prepare for the masks to fall off (figuratively and perhaps literally, too) as more family secrets and betrayal spill around the buffet table. As usual, the Choos will be serving up drama with plenty of food on the side. Because gossip and grub? It’s the perfect combo. There’s a wide spread of local delights to work your way through – indulge in everything from favourites like laksa, ice kacang, rendang and satay to mouthwatering creations such as truffle egg croissants. Be sure to save room for dessert as we hear there are kaya bread and butter pudding and Milo Dinosaur buns. To up the ante, there will also be live chef stations, where you can get them to whip up personalised plates of chicken rice and more.
