Playeum once again has something in store this month for the inquisitive-minded kids aged five and above. At Tinkering Sunday, your child is encouraged to fiddle with disposable cameras and turn them into portable microscopes – and don’t worry if your child fails on the first try. There are plenty of single-use snappers for participants to try and try again.
What makes Tinkering Sunday different from the other science-based workshops is that parents, too, can join in on the fun. With artist Isabelle Desjeux in the lead, your child, armed with his or her DIY microscope, can even venture into the bushes to observe creepy-crawlies under the lens – come with an open mind and closed shoes for this one.
