RuPaul's Drag Race, the renowned American reality competition series hosted by the iconic drag queen RuPaul, needs no introduction. And now, the highly anticipated RuPaul's Drag Race WERQ THE WORLD is making its return to Singapore since their last show in 2020! They will take the stage at The Star Theatre on September 7. The Asia cast will feature Aquaria, Jaida Essence Hall, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, Plastique Tiara, Rosé and Yvie Oddly. This year's tour spans across over 100 cities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Asia, Europe, and Mexico.
The show will transport audiences to a dystopian future as the cherished stars of RuPaul's Drag Race face a challenging dilemma, torn between the familiar real world and an artificial realm. The sci-fi themed show is specially designed to captivate audiences in large venues and arenas.
“WERQ THE WORLD is the official RuPaul’s Drag Race tour for a reason,” says Jon Norris, senior producer at Voss Events, the tour organisers. “It is the biggest, most spectacular drag show on the planet. The music, sets, fashion, choreography and lighting in this production are like nothing fans of drag have ever seen before.”
