Don’t be fooled by its name – Singapore Sports Hub is far more than being a giant playground for athletes. Dominating the Kallang skyline with its unmistakable dome, this sprawling behemoth is a trailblazer in the world of sports and entertainment, celebrated as one of the largest and first fully integrated destinations of its kind. At its core are the National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium which have set the stage for the likes of Taylor Swift, Coldplay, and Blackpink. But the Singapore Sports Hub isn’t stopping there. With a dynamic lineup of live performances and genre-blending events, it’s cementing its status as a must-visit for music lovers.

For a combination of music and sports

The Singapore Sports Hub is rewriting the playbook on entertainment, seamlessly blending the thrill of sports with the energy of live music. Take the FIBA Intercontinental Cup Singapore 2024, where the three-point shots aren’t the only thing making noise. Beyond witnessing six teams from six continents clash for the title, look forward to the half-time show on September 14, where Zouk’s resident DJ Rattle serves up some hip-hop beats halfway through Game 5 between G League United vs Tasmania Jackjumpers. If you’re a courtside ticket holder, stick around for DJ Jeremy Boon who will be spinning a high-octane mix of house music at the All-Star Lounge.

For an immersive music festival

Unlike indoor events, festivals span multiple venues, bringing a vibrant mix of music and experiences to dynamic settings. In collaboration with 8-Beat Collective, Singapore Sports Hub is turning up the volume with the race-inspired Groovedriver Festival 2024 as part of the highly anticipated Grand Prix Season Singapore. Over 10 days of non-stop action, the festival promises a lineup of live music, culinary offerings, and immersive experiences that up the ante on your typical festival fare.

Kickstart the festivities with an opening night at OCBC Square, featuring local stars like Benjamin Kheng, LinYing, Iman Fandi, Lullaboy, and Alyph on September 13, where admission is free. Then show off your best moves at the throwback pop night Autorewind, led by Johnny Hates Jazz and Tunde from Lighthouse Family, as well as Ministry of Sound DJ sets with international spinners like Seb Fontaine, Chicane, Mauro Picotto, and more. And don’t miss the 8-Beat Beach Club, a themed pop-up at the Sports Hub Beach Volleyball Court where you can soak up some house beats, bites, and booze to keep the party going. Secure your spot for all the ticketed and non-ticketed shows here.

To discover local talents

Not every great performance needs a stadium. Through its partnership with National Arts Council, Singapore Sports Hub brings the city’s buskers to the forefront. These performances add a layer of charm to the Hub’s bustling atmosphere, proving that great street performances can happen anywhere, even on your way to grab a bite.

For major concerts with global superstars

If your idea of a perfect evening involves belting out chart-topping hits or waving a DIY sign at your favourite band, then Singapore Sports Hub is your front-row ticket to the biggest live music shows in town. The venues’ state-of-the-art facilities make every performance feel intimate, no matter where you’re seated. And with the debut performances of global pop superstars Olivia Rodrigo and Dua Lipa on the docket, you can expect the Hub to transform into a pulsating, neon-lit spectacle once again. For music fans, this is ground zero.
