Zheng Xiaoying, China’s first female opera and symphony conductor. leads Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra in an evening of Chinese classical music that includes Liu Yan's award-winning symphony 'The Echoes of Hakka earth castles' and a solo by violinist Huang Bin, who won top prize in the Paganini Competition in 1994.
