Time Out says

Haw Par Villa will be playing host to ASEAN Music Showcase Festival (AMS) 2022 this weekend. This marks the festival’s first physical showcase held at Haw Par Villa compound on all three stages. Running on September 10 and 11, the first live showcase is set to feature a slew of up-and-coming and established artists from 11 different countries.

Billed as Southeast Asia’s first intra-regional music showcase festival, expect emerging and established acts across multiple genres – which means there’s likely something for every kind of music lover. Representing Singapore are rapper BGourd, post-rock band Amateur Takes Control, DJ-producer Fauxe, indie pop act Pleasantry and pop-R&B act Ffion. Thai Hip-hop labels YUPP! and HIGH CLOUD Entertainment artistes such as BOOM BOOM CASH and AUTTA featuring Flower.Far will also take the stage.

The festival will also feature other international acts from Taiwan, India and Australia. Fans can look forward to Taiwanese indie bands Huan Huan and I Mean Us, Indian jazz-rock fusion band Jatayu and Australian musician and producer Yeo.

If you’re unable to make it down in person, fret not because you can view the virtual showcase that will be broadcasted on ASEAN Music Showcase Festival’s YouTube channel. The virtual showcase lineup will be announced at a later date. Get your tickets here.
