One part of critically acclaimed electronic duo Air, Jean-Benoît Dunckel – better known as JB Dunckel – descends from the pop cosmos to debut his first solo show in Singapore at the Esplanade Annexe Studio on March 2.
Backed by a full band, the French electronic maverick will showcase his highly anticipated studio release H+. The Singapore stopover is part of Esplanade's Mosaic Music Series. Named after the shorthand symbol for the theory of transhumanism, the sci-fi-esque album is loaded with sounds that can only be described as dreamy yet cinematic à la Hans Zimmer. The only way to get in the mind of JB Dunckel is to catch the musician work his magic on-stage as he performs tracks off H+ as well as selections from Air’s discography.
