Time Out says

Ever heard of listening to a painting? Well, now you can. Experience the fusion of visual art and music at Movements in Time - Artworks from the National Gallery, where renowned paintings by Singaporean artists come alive through the addition of classical soundtracks. Presented by the Foundation for the Arts and Social Enterprise, the enchanting melodies will be performed by the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, Singapore's sole fully-independent professional symphony orchestra, composed by Singaporean composer Kelly Tang. The music compositions were inspired by five iconic artworks from the collection of National Gallery Singapore.

Conducted by Maestro Chan Tze Law, this performance will mark the beginning of a decade-long Music Commissioning Series, featuring works that will be recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios alongside the London Philharmonic Orchestra. This initiative aims to bring the music of Singaporean composers to audiences around the world.

Other programmes include a free music-appreciation session by Singapore composer, conductor and educator Benjamin Yeo, solo guest performance by pianist Mikkel Myer Lee, and a screening of a mini documentary about the UTOPIA Symphony.
