Music with Scenery

The title says it all. Much like Erik Satie’s notion of ‘furniture music’, here’s an ambient music gig that finds beauty in the mundane. Composer Haruka Nakamura shares the stage with local duo aspidistrafly to perform a collaborative set of their softly spun folktronica, which really won’t sound out of place in a Studio Ghibli animation. And that ain’t bad at all.
