National Stadium

It’s not that often you get to step onto the National Stadium field. But now’s your chance as the stadium opens its gates with a family-friendly lineup of sports, entertainment and activities. For a whole month, you can drop by to try a new sport, or simply take a leisurely lap around the track. Things get even livelier on the weekends, with an art market, inflatable playgrounds, movie screenings, LED roof displays, K-pop random dance plays and open-mic karaoke. The programme each weekend also changes throughout, so there’s always a reason to keep coming back. September 5 and 6 for a TCG card show and Muay Thai tryouts. There’s also the Overclocked Fitness Gaming Challenge, which features four interactive gaming stations to test your speed, strength, and reflexes. Keep track of your points on the live leaderboard as the player with the highest points for the day wins. Then, on September 13, swap the games for a walk and cheer on the Samsung Galaxy Walkathon participants as they clock at least 6,100 steps in celebration of SG61.
