Enjoy a series of musical entertainment and activities at Sentosa’s first ever music festival, happening from November 10 to January 3 across the island. And although the name suggests a music-only fiesta, there will also be an outdoor film screening of French films in collaboration with Sentosa's Movies by the Beach from November 10 to 12, brought to you by the vOilah! French Film Festival.
For starters, witness a DJ spin off at the Sand Bar on Siloso Beach, where aspiring DJs will put on a show to be assessed by a panel of industry experts including Ollie ‘des, Mad Jester, Cherish, and Andrew Chow. For those who would like to participate, registration can be done here.
Jazz-lovers, head to Sentosa Cove for Jazz by the Cove where jazz themes and genres will be explored across six themed nights. The opening night will see musicians like the Jazz-Blues Brothers, Jeremy Monteiro and Alberto Marsico taking the stage, along with Malaysian singer Sheila Majid. Homegrown jazz players like Sax in the City and Duncan McKee’s Trio with Sinclair and the Jazzkids will also have their time to shine. To top it off, musicians hailing all the way from Italy and Japan such as Giacomo Turra and Soejima Toshiki respectively will also be performing.
Other exciting happenings will include Asia’s longest-running dance music festival, ZoukOut, as well as engaging workshops. The Sentosa Countdown Party at Palawan Green will also be running on New Years’ Eve. Here, families and friends can gather under the night sky to enjoy live music performances, outdoor movie screenings, play zones, food markets and more.
And be sure not to miss out an artistic showcase of 550 drones illuminating the night sky with illustrations of Sentosa’s renowned landmarks during the countdown. The 10-minute performance will be followed by a countdown and fireworks to welcome the new year.
