The T'ang Quartet will commence its 2023/2024 season with Chamber of Heroes, a concert celebrating three renowned chamber music composers: Beethoven, Haydn, and Caroline Shaw. Featuring local musicians Ng Yu-Ying and Ang Chek Meng on first and second violin respectively, as well as guest musicians Dandan Wang on viola and Jamshid Saydikarimov on cello.
Through performing these classic compositions, the quartet not only honours the deep-rooted tradition of chamber music but also showcases the evolving influences that are shaping the genre today.
