Time Out says

As Singapore's very first 5,000-seat performing arts theatre, this venue plays host to a wide selection of music events, theatre and dance performances, conferences, seminars, community events and more. Built in a traditional horseshoe shape, the auditorium features custom-designed seating with stalls and two circle levels. Best of all, it's located just above the bustling ground levels of restaurants and shops at The Star Vista.

Boyz II Men

Brace yourself for a throwback to the 90s as the 'End of the Road' leads straight to The Star Theatre on May 23. R&B legends Boyz II Men are back for one night only, promising an evening of soul, swoon, and serious nostalgia. Expect to belt out 'I'll Make Love to You', sway to 'One Sweet Day', and maybe even shed a little tear (no judgement). With a career spanning three decades, four Grammy Awards, and more slow-dance jams than you can count, Boyz II Men are ready to serve up 'Motownphilly' magic, and you won't want to miss it. After all, they’re not just any R&B group – they’re the best-selling one of all time.

Jacob Collier

Jacob Collier is making his way back to our city, set to perform at The Star Theatre on May 28. Jacob Collier’s shows are something special – not just because of his mind-blowing harmonies, but because the audience becomes part of the music too. A master of live crowd harmonisation, he turns concert halls into spontaneous choirs, making every show a unique experience. The seven time Grammy winner is a musical wizard who shot to fame on YouTube with his mind-blowing harmonies and genre-blending sound. He fuses jazz, pop, and classical in ways that feel almost otherworldly. Tickets are now on sale here.

Lang Lang Plays Disney in Concert

There’s no denying the sheer magic of music. It has a way of moving us, stirring emotions, and rekindling memories in the most unexpected ways. And when it’s Disney classics? Well, that’s a guaranteed trip down memory lane. On June 12 and 14, get ready to relive your childhood soundtrack as Chinese piano virtuoso Lang Lang takes the stage at The Star Theatre for the Southeast Asian premiere of Lang Lang Plays Disney in Concert. This marks the pianist’s long-awaited return since his last performance in Singapore a decade ago. And this time, he’s joined by a live symphony orchestra and an all-star lineup, including his equally gifted wife Gina Alice. Together, they’ll breathe new life into Disney’s most beloved melodies with innovative piano arrangements, weaving music and storytelling into one captivating experience.  From London to New York, Paris to Toronto, Lang Lang has wowed audiences across the globe, and now it’s your turn to feel the magic. Whether you grew up humming ‘A Whole New World’ or belting ‘Let It Go’ in the shower, you won’t want to miss this celebration of the tunes that defined generations.  Tickets start from $38. Enjoy 10 percent off when you book your tickets here.

Jo Koy: Just Being Koy Tour

Skip Netflix on June 16 – it’s time to catch Jo Koy live and in the flesh at The Star Theatre. That’s right, the Filipino-American stand-up star is bringing his culturally chaotic comedy to Singapore as part of his Just Being Koy tour – and it’s going to be an all-out laugh riot.  From humble beginnings performing in a Las Vegas coffee shop to smashing box office records in Manila, Dubai, Sydney, New York and beyond, there’s no stopping Jo Koy. His secret sauce? Roasting his mum (lovingly – and definitely not the “yo mama” kind), and serving up brutally accurate takes on parenting and family life that somehow manage to be both hyper-specific and wildly universal. It’s no surprise that his hilariously honest reflections on growing up Filipino, navigating cultural quirks, and surviving family drama have struck a nerve – and the funny bone – of audiences around the world.  With four Netflix specials including the latest Live From Brooklyn, a Hollywood film based on his life experiences, a best-selling memoir, and a Billboard-topping comedy album, Koy isn’t just hilarious – he’s a phenomenon. And you won’t want to miss this comedy show that also doubles as a spicy, shouty, side-splitting family reunion. Tickets start from $108. Get yours here.

Jason Derulo

If you were a teen in the 2010s, chances are Jason Derulo was on every playlist, from parties to bedrooms. And you can’t just say his name, you have to sing it. But here's another reason to warm up your vocal chops: the multi-hyphenated R&B pop singer (we're including actor and TikTok star to his resume too) is finally performing his first show in Singapore, bringing a setlist packed with bangers like ‘Ridin’ Solo’, ‘Trumpets’, ‘Watcha Say’ and 'Swalla', as well as tracks from his latest album Nu King, to the Star Theatre stage on June 25. With slick choreography, smooth vocals, and plenty of nostalgia, you're in for a Wiggle'-worthy night.

James Blake

You've listened to his music, including the hottest collaborations with some of the biggest names in the game, and now, alternative R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer James Blake is about to make his first-ever headline debut in Singapore on July 22 at The Star Theatre. The UK’s boundary-pushing artiste is renowned for blending soulful electronics with raw emotion, crafting a sound that’s uniquely his own. From the Mercury Prize-winning Overgrown to the Grammy-nominated Assume Form and Playing Robots Into Heaven, Blake’s artistry defies genres and expectations. Behind the scenes, he’s shaped iconic albums by Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, and BeyoncĂ©. This is your rare chance to witness one of music’s most magnetic outliers live.
