Time Out says

Now that concert halls around Singapore are setting the stage for the return of live performances, music lovers can mark their calendars for physical concerts once again. Fans of classical music can look forward to Singapore Symphony Orchestra's (SSO) To Vienna and Linz with Mozart on January 6, where the ensemble performs its enthralling renditions of Mozart's majestic music at the Esplanade Concert Hall.

While you wait for the green light to travel to Europe once again, journey to Austrian cities Vienna and Linz with the SSO through the music of Austria's most famous and influential composer of the Classical period, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Treat your senses to the sparkling serenity of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23, K. 488, as performed by Singapore-based classical pianist Albert Tiu, as well as the captivating sounds of Mozart's Symphony No. 36, "Linz", as performed by the SSO.

Your conductor for the evening is none other than the new Chief Conductor of the SSO, Hans Graf. The Austrian native and classical music maestro took over as Chief Conductor of the SSO in July 2020, but To Vienna and Linz with Mozart marks his first live concert with an audience since taking up the role.

Discover the multi-faceted appeal of Mozart's genius and join Hans Graf, Albert Tiu and the SSO as they celebrate the legendary Austrian composer. Tickets are available online, starting from $28. For more information, visit sso.org.sg.
