Time Out says

Singapore’s indie darling Cherie Ko is no longer about pastel pinafores and synth pop tunes – just leather jackets and rock ’n’ roll, baby. A ‘noir pop’ project in collaboration with Melbourne-based musician Ted Doré, the Badlands-esque duo churns out rebellious anthems about reckless romance, backed by smooth guitar licks and a driving bass line. The two-piece will be debuting tracks from their first EP at the Mosaic Music Weekend.
