Time Out says

Live gigs are back, and kicking things off this year is Urban Sonic Festival. Happening over two weekends from January 7 to 9 and 14 to 16, it will feature 16 homegrown artists including Benjamin Kheng and Linying.

Head down to *Scape The Ground Theatre to catch performances spanning indie, pop, rock and R&B. You'll recognise headline Benjamin Kheng from the pop band The Sam Willows, alongside indie singer Linying, who wrote and performed 2021's National Day Parade theme song The Road Ahead alongside three other artistes.

The six-day festival line-up also includes alternative bands such as Absence!, Cadence and Carpet Golf; singer-songwriters Izat Ibrahim, Daniel Sid and Dominic Chin; and R&B trio BRB. To complement the experience, there will be a DJ setup you can experiment with thanks to Re:Activate Asia, as well as a place to flex your vocal chops with The Singing Loft.

Organised by IMC Live Global, Urban Sonic Festival is free for all with pre-registration at bit.ly/urbansonic
