Warm up those vocal cords because Voices – A Festival of Song 2025 is back at the Esplanade from December 4 to 7, and it’s hitting all the right notes. Now in its 13th edition, this annual celebration of the human voice strikes a heartfelt chord as Singapore turns 60, shining a spotlight on the nation’s homegrown singers, choirs, and vocal ensembles.
Over four music-filled days, the entire Esplanade is set to turn up the volume for a wide range of genres, from choral and opera to K-pop, Mandopop, and musical theatre. Don’t miss the two ticketed main events: MICappella X The Island Voices: The Crossover on December 5, where local a cappella icons MICappella and The Island Voices join forces for a night of vocal fireworks and interactive performances; and A Choir-ed Taste by Musicians’ Inc. 6 (MI6) and Esplanade’s Voices Festival Choir on December 7, which is a grand showcase of choral classics, contemporary gems and local premieres featuring over 100 choristers on stage.
Learn from seasoned practitioners and explore the power of your voice at vocal wellness and singing workshops like Singing 101: Find Your Voice!, Singing as Therapy, and Awareness and Wellness for Vocal Confidence. You can also join free activities such as song signing workshops, Mandopop group vocal jams, or karaoke sessions. Or simply relax and soak up live performances by choirs, a cappella groups, and local singer-songwriters while you’re there.
