When it comes to hotels, Singapore has plenty of stunners – from boutique brands with all the creature comforts, to fully poshed up luxury resorts in the most expensive parts of town. You might already be acquainted with the usual longstanding favourites, but it’s worth putting some of Singapore’s newer hotels on your radar, whether you’re a local seeking a staycation, or a visitor looking for clean and stylish accommodation you can’t go wrong with.
The list of best hotels in Asia as part of the Best In Travel 2025 report by Smart Travel Asia is a good place to start. After all, five hotels from Singapore are part of the top 10 list. In fact, we’re the country with the most winners as part of this year’s list.

Top place goes to Dusit Thani Bangkok, but the all-suite Raffles Sentosa Singapore does us proud at second place, tied with The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok. Orchard Road’s art-filled boutique hotel, The Standard, Singapore, is fourth in Asia – a position it shares with luxury names Raffles at Galaxy Macau and Fairmont Mumbai.
Incidentally, the other hotels from Singapore that are highlighted as Asia’s best are also clustered within the Orchard area: Como Metropolitan Singapore (#6), Conrad Singapore Orchard (#7) which took over the former Regent Singapore building, and Artyzen Singapore (#8) which sits more towards the Tanglin side of the shopping belt. All are great choices if you’re looking for a cushy stay that puts you within walking distance of endless food and shopping options.
