The frills, feathers, and all that jazz are shimmying onto the virtual stage with Digital Burlesque as club acts in Singapore are on hold during this circuit breaker. Brought to you by SJS Group – the brains behind the charming New York-inspired nightlife venue Lulu's Lounge – Digital Burlesque brings the creative entertainment to any virtual cocktail parties, game nights or digital celebration right at your fingertips.

That's right – you can book any of the world's top burlesque performers for your next online event at $300. The performers include New Yorkers Calamity Chang and Gin Minsky, as well as Singapore's very own Becca d'Bus. Besides being the co-producer of the world's only New York Asian Burlesque Extravaganza, glamorous showgirl Calamity Chang also charted the Top 100 Burlesque Performers in the World. On the other hand, Burlesque Hall of Famer Gin Minsky is known for her party tricks such as sword swallowing and tap dancing. For something outrageous, the host and producer of Riot!, Singapore's only regular drag revue since 2015, Becca d'Bus is your bona fide queen of the night.

Once all booked, the performer will dial in via Zoom, and put on a show filled with their signature style and moves. All you have to do is sit back, and enjoy the show from your comfy couch. Got a birthday coming up? Surprise that special someone with the intimate affair which also makes for an unconventional gift.

"While typically premier acts from around the world would cost thousands of dollars to bring over for a performance, the digital landscape allows for them to simply dial in and curate a performance specifically for you, at a fraction of the cost," says Joshua Schwartz, co-founder of SJS Group.

Experiencing a burlesque performance is a visceral, physical affair, but at times as strange as these, showgirls around the world are embracing the digital landscape to bring their sultry performances to home audiences. Adapting to the new norm allows performers to experiment and come up with creative solutions while keeping the art alive. "During an international crisis it can be easy to lose the importance of art and creation, but these forms of expression have a long history in our culture and have an important place in our society," says Sarissa Schwartz, co-founder of SJS Group.

Sounds exciting? Book the Digital Burlesque on sjsgroup.sg, or email sheila@sjsgroup.sg to organise a date and time with the performer.
