There’ll be football-themed games and lucky draws to boot

Singapore isn’t shying away from the World Cup season, with a massive watch party at one of its most famous hawker centres lined up, as well as an ongoing festive collaboration. And now, it’s about to get even more massive. The FIFA World Cup 2026 is set to become a nationwide experience, with community watch parties starting on June 12, 2026, and FIFA-themed activities across local neighbourhoods.
This is all thanks to the efforts of People’s Association (PA), Sport Singapore (SportSG) and The Kallang Group (TKG), inviting residents to come together and experience the tournament as one community.
The event extends across more than 50 People’s Association Community Clubs, five ActiveSG Sport Centres, and The Kallang, where selected matches from Mediacorp’s coverage will be screened live, for free. Think large-format screens, dedicated fan zones, football-themed games, and even lucky draws.
The fun will kick off at 3am, with Mexico vs South Africa on June 12 at Community Clubs. Following that, SportSG joins the early riser club with South Korea vs Czech Republic at 10am that same day. Meanwhile, The Kallang is aiming for the heavy hitters – screening the final four matches, starting with the first semi-final on July 15 at Kallang Wave Mall. SportSG will also be hyping things up with sport carnivals at all five ActiveSG Sport Centres for the third-place play-off and final matches, featuring games, food, and activities.
Full match schedules and venue lists are available via PA and SportSG websites.
