Chagee will launch its first-ever family-friendly store at Suntec City

Your bubble tea run just became a family affair. With the debut of its first-ever family-friendly store at Suntec City this weekend, Chagee is making room for the whole family – complete with child-friendly furniture and seating, as well as weekend activities for kids. And if you’re thinking the name sounds familiar, that’s because the Yunnan-born tea brand has been steadily expanding across Singapore with close to 30 stores island-wide.

As cafés and casual dining spots increasingly double as places to spend an afternoon beyond a quick drink, Chagee’s latest opening leans into that shift. Rather than feeling like a typical grab-and-go tea stop, the space is clearly designed for hanging out – somewhere families can pause, sit down, and let kids burn off a little energy, whether it’s during a mid-shopping break or a slower weekend outing with the kids in tow.

At the heart of the newly launched space is a tiered seating play area, where multi-level booths double as spaces for children to move around and play. Thoughtfully integrated into the seating area, the play zone allows parents to keep their children within sight while enjoying their drinks.

Parents can rest a little easier because the area is fitted with soft-touch materials and rounded edges throughout, creating a safer environment for kids to explore. A digital screen adds another layer of excitement, offering simple motion-based games for children to interact with, while complimentary milk is also available – a nice bonus for little milk lovers.

The grand opening will be held from January 9 to 11, 2026, and over the following three days, families can enjoy a lineup of exciting activities throughout the opening period, giving you multiple chances to take part throughout the weekend. Starting with Chagee’s Signature Tear & Win activity with exclusive family prizes – educational toys, digital reading devices and kid-friendly audio accessories – up for grabs, followed by complimentary ice cream with a minimum spend of of $20, balloon giveaways, and a cup-stacking challenge where winners will receive a free drink voucher.
