This marks Changi's 14th overall win since the World Airport Awards began

Changi Airport has been named the world’s best airport for 2026 by Skytrax once again – marking its 14th win since the World Airport Awards began. This will also be the airport's second consecutive year at the top, after briefly slipping in recent years.
The rankings are based on a global airport passenger survey conducted across more than 100 nationalities, covering everything from check-in, arrivals and security to shopping, transfers, immigration and boarding.
Beyond the headline title, Changi picked up several other wins: best airport in Asia, as well as top honours for airport dining and immigration services. In other words, the full journey – from clearing passport control to grabbing a pre-flight meal – continues to be where it stands out.
Changi was also recognised as the best airport serving 60 to 70 million passengers, emphasising how it handles both scale and service. In 2025, it handled close to 70 million travellers, placing it among the busiest airports in the region.
Other airports rounding out the top five include Incheon International Airport, Tokyo Haneda Airport, Hong Kong International Airport and Narita International Airport.
