Don't worry about having to travel to the Land of the Rising Sun for a glimpse of the seasonal cherry blossoms because it's all coming to you. Wind your way through clouds of pink and white at Gardens by the Bay's Flower Dome for Sakura Matsuri, happening from March 16 to April 8, to witness its annual floral display set amidst a Japanese-style garden. So expect tea houses, traditional rickshaws and torii gates.

There are also special programmes lined up throughout the month for visitors to enjoy. This includes a Japanese tea ceremony demonstration, live koto and Japanese drum performances and a kimono parade. And don't miss the Anime Garden at Supertree Grove for a slew of anime-related activities such as an anisong concert, a film screening of Your Name, celebrity cosplayers and a Pikachu parade.

The three-week-long affair closes off with the Sakura Japan Fair (Mar 30-Apr 8) where there'll be plenty of F&B booths, bento and sake appreciation workshops and live performances to look out for.
