We might not have snow in Singapore, but one can imagine, right? Singaporean artist Sean Lee created a buzz with his series of an underwater Singapore in the future, similar to the beautiful and dystopian world of the popular video game, Bioshock. This time – and fitting for the Christmas season – he has reimagined a Singapore in harsh wintry climates. The Singapore Winter series sees iconic landmarks like People's Park Complex, the ArtScience Museum and Marina Bay Sands in sub-zero temperatures.

Keeping it real, Sean also included the original photos of the buildings and scenes he worked on before putting an icy touch to the photos using a process called photo-bashing where artists merge and blend photographs or 3D assets together while painting and compositing them into one finished piece, lending a touch of surrealism to the final piece.

We're thankful for the cool monsoon weather Singapore has been experiencing of late, but a little sample of the cold winter in these parts would be nice too.
