Chances are, a lot of us here aren’t getting enough hours of slumber each night – and it’s high time we recover that sleep debt, especially with March being World Sleep Month. Habits are hard to change, but for starters, try recharging yourself with a quick one-hour nap at the new sleeping pods that have just popped up at Orchard.

Located within Tangs at Tang Plaza, these sleeping pods are created by Heveya, a mattress and bedding brand. There are two types of pods to choose from: one with a teak bed frame and Heveya’s ultra soft Cloud Mattress, and the other with an adjustable motorised bed frame, a latex Heveya mattress, and hypoallergenic pillows suitable for those with sensitive skin. Both beds are king-sized and you’ll also get to pick your preferred blanket option.

Each Scandinavian-style nap pod offers full privacy and even comes with a relaxing forest backdrop, making you feel as though you’re in a resort. On top of that, the brand’s own essential oil will be diffused within the pods, accompanied by soothing tunes that’ll help you drift right off to dreamland in no time.

The sleeping pods are available on level 3 of the department store from now till March 27, 2024, in hourly slots from 11am to 8pm. Usage is free of charge, but you’ll have to make a reservation online here.
