It brings 251 rooms to a west-coast location best known for its rainforest and sea views

If you’re looking for a quick luxurious getaway but you’re not in the mood for local staycays, then here’s Hilton’s latest opening just one and a half hours away from Singapore – Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi Resort, the island’s first Hilton resort.
Set along Burau Bay on the island’s western coastline, the resort sits in a particularly cinematic pocket of Langkawi where the Andaman Sea stretches out on one side and dense rainforest wraps around the other.
Across the property, there are 251 rooms and suites. The vibe? Think airy interiors, generous ceiling heights, and natural textures. Large windows are also a running design decision here, pulling in daylight and framing sea, sky, and greenery. There are also interconnecting rooms and suites geared towards families and big groups.
Head outside and enjoy a large outdoor pool anchoring the leisure spaces, with direct beach access. The resort also boasts a spa village with a tea pavilion, jungle-framed rock pool, fitness facilities, and sports courts spread across a vast 9.7-hectare site.
Food-wise, things go beyond your usual restaurant buffet loop: there’s an all-day dining venue serving international and Asian selections, a lounge space built for slower afternoons and tea sessions, a Chinese and Italian specialty outlet, and even a 12-seat culinary masterclass space where dining doubles up as a performance.
Entry-level stays include King and Twin Guest Rooms (from S$237) with balconies, equipped with modern essentials such as a 55-inch TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, a coffee setup, and filtered water. Higher-category rooms (from S$321) dial up the scenery, from rainforest-facing views to more secluded terrace setups with a huge outdoor lounging space.
For those willing to take the indulgence further, the suites shift into full escape mode. Sea-facing premium suites (from S$892) come with separate living areas and wide-open views of the water, while duplex-style options (from S$996) stretch the experience vertically, adding private terraces designed for doing absolutely nothing in style.
