If you've spent any amount of time on K-pop TikTok this year, chances are you've already heard of LNGSHOT. The rookie boy group only made their debut this January, but they've been moving at the speed of a fast break ever since.

Now, the four-member group – made up of Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin and Louis – is headed to Singapore as the headline performer for the NBA Rising Stars Invitational, taking place at OCBC Arena from June 23 to 28. And they're not just showing up on the final day for a performance and disappearing backstage.

As part of the event, LNGSHOT will spend the final day interacting with participants, taking part in community outreach activities, and meeting fans before hitting the stage for a live performance. For K-pop fans, it's a rare chance to see one of the genre's fastest-rising acts up close in a setting that's far more intimate than your typical arena concert.

And make no mistake, LNGSHOT are a pretty big deal. Despite debuting just months ago under More Vision, the group has already amassed more than 80 million Spotify streams and over 47 million YouTube views for their breakout hit ‘Moonwalkin'’. They've also clocked up a staggering 3.5 million Instagram followers, proving that their appeal stretches well beyond South Korea's borders. With more than 240 million cumulative streams and over five million monthly Spotify listeners, they're rapidly becoming one of K-pop's hottest new names.

Of course, the NBA Rising Stars Invitational isn't just about K-pop. Returning for its second edition, the tournament brings together some of the best under-18 boys' and girls' basketball teams from across the Asia-Pacific region for six days of competition, culminating in the semifinals and finals on June 28. Los Angeles Lakers forward Rui Hachimura, NBA champions Jeremy Lin and Mitch Richmond, as well as Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) champion Lauren Jackson will also be there to interact with participants and take part in fan meet-and-greet sessions throughout the week.

But even if you don't know your slam dunks from your three-pointers, there's plenty of reason to get involved. Think high-energy sporting action, a festival-like atmosphere, community activities, and now one of K-pop's most buzzworthy rookie groups all under one roof. In other words, this is the kind of event where basketball fans, music lovers and even families can all have an absolute ball.

Additional tickets have just been released, with options available for the opening ceremony, pool games, semifinals and finals. If you've been looking for an excuse to catch the next big thing before they become impossible to get tickets for, LNGSHOT's Singapore appearance might just be your shot. Get your tickets here.
