The new flavours include pandan sourdough egg tarts and salted egg madeleines

If you’re headed to Changi soon, you might want to make a pit stop at La Levain’s latest pop-up at Jewel. At first glance, it might seem like the bakery has simply packed up its Hamilton Road favourites and brought them to the airport. But there’s more to this outpost than a new address, with three newly launched treats you can only get at Jewel.
The trio consists of a pandan sourdough egg tart ($3 each, $18 for a box of 6), pandan gula melaka madeleine ($3 each, $22.40 for a box of 8) and salted egg madeleine ($3 each, $22.40 for a box of 8), all created exclusively for the Jewel outpost.
Since opening on Hamilton Road in December 2021, La Levain has made a name for itself with its slow-fermented bakes, from buttery croissants and sourdough egg tarts to kouign amann, all made with French butter and flour. Past highly sought-after creations include the Onigiri Croissant, Teochew Mooncake and its now-iconic La LeBombz (La Levain’s circular croissant-style pastry), with new specials regularly joining the line-up.
The new pop-up is located on Level 1, Lobby H, and marks La Levain’s second Changi Airport location following sister bakery J’aime Bakehouse by La Levain at Terminal 3.
The pop-up will stick around until March 2027, taking it through both Christmas and Chinese New Year.
La Levain at Jewel Changi is located at Jewel Changi Airport, Level 1, Lobby H, open from 10am to 10pm daily.
