Great news, we’re opening up come March 16 with new Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTLs) to Greece and Vietnam. Singapore is also extending their VTLs to other cities of Malaysia, Indonesia, and India, including:

  • Malaysia (currently includes Kuala Lumpur, will include Penang)
  • Indonesia (currently includes Jakarta, will include Bali-Denpasar)
  • India (currently includes Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai, will include all Indian cities)

Pre-Covid, Vietnam was one of the more popular destinations for travellers heading out of Singapore, hence the two-way travel lane – meaning, that there won’t be quarantine requirements on either end. For other newly-announced VTLs, you still have to check the travel requirements of the other countries.

Singapore will also be expanding their travel history requirement for Europe. Currently, it is necessary for travellers to spend the last seven days before departure to Singapore in a VTL-approved destination. But now, as long as you spend your last seven days in the European Economic Area (EEA), you can freely travel around some of our favourite travel destinations like France, Greece, Italy, Spain and 23 other EEA countries.
