If your new year's resolution includes upping your Insta game by brushing up your photography skills, now's a perfect time. Dust off your DSLR and tune into Nikon School Singapore as the photography school streams live courses online for the first time – and they're absolutely free.

Starting from April 11, the famous camera brand is conducting eight courses this month, with plans for another 10 more in May. The in-depth courses are held via Zoom, and feature award-winning and popular photographers covering various lifestyle experiences from discovering wildlife to framing food  – all behind the camera lens. You'll also be clued up on raw video and how to work with ProRes Raw footage. The sessions are interactive, so feel free to ask questions. First up is a class by award-winning photographer Cole Kor who will be breaking down the fundamentals of portraiture on April 11 at 8pm.

Whether you're a DSLR rookie or a phone camera pro, Nikon's free online photography courses will have you taking snaps that'll tantalise the taste buds, portraits that'll be the envy of the Mona Lisa, and more. All you have to do is sign up via the website and you're all set. For more information about each course and the full schedule, visit school.nikon.com.sg.

If photography is not your cup of tea, there are other online classes you can sign up for during this period.
