Nitori may have closed its original Singapore outlet at Orchard recently, but we now know – it’s only because something bigger and better was in the works. The Japanese furniture store has since unveiled a brand new boutique at Bugis, and it’s not just the largest one in Singapore – it’s also the largest one outside of Japan.

As one of Japan’s most popular home and furnishing brands, Nitori has all the essentials you could want in your abode, including affordable space-saving solutions that are perfect for small Japanese studio flats and Singaporean HDBs alike. Some of its popular innovations include N-Cool bedding, which wicks away body heat and feels cool to the touch, and Super Light Dishes that are ultra lightweight yet durable.

This Bugis Junction flagship brings the total number of Nitori stores in Singapore to five, with the others being located at Westgate (Jurong), Eastpoint Mall (Simei), Chinatown Point and Junction 8 (Bishan).

As part of the Bugis store’s opening celebrations, shoppers can redeem a free shopping bag with a minimum spend of $48 from now till September 21, 2025. Designs are given out at random, and there’s even one with the brand’s cute cat mascot on it. On top of that, spend at least $30 in a single receipt from now till October 31, and scan a QR code on an in-store poster to join a lucky draw for a pair of ANA flight tickets to Tokyo.

Nitori’s new outlet is located at Bugis Junction #03-11, open daily from 10am to 10pm. Stay tuned to future updates and promotions via Nitori Singapore’s Instagram page.
