In view of the upcoming #BuySingLit week, Singapore-based independent publisher Epigram is dropping 50 local books across selected Singapore's heartlands. It's to drive home the point that Singaporean stories are, quite literally, everywhere. Go on a book hunt and pick up these goodies for free.
While exact locations of the SingLit Heartland Book Drop are a secret, we got word that the books will be placed in five neighbourhoods: Ang Mo Kio (March 6), Bras Basah (March 9), Clementi (March 13), Tampines (March 16) and Telok Blangah (March 20). Just follow Epigram on Instagram and Facebook for hints on where to find them.
Books run the gamut from picture books and chapter books to graphic novels and literary fiction – who knows, you might just find your next favourite book if you join the hunt.
